Verify it yourself
You don't need to trust Bitseal. Choose how your record was sealed, and this page shows the steps you need to check it against the blockchain. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you enter is sent to Bitseal.
Choose your seal option i
1. The record
2. Your own copy (optional)
Even one changed character gives a completely different fingerprint, so it has to be the exact original.
3. Check a Bitcoin timestamp
For a Bitcoin (timestamp) record. Add your original document in step 2 first. This checks that it's the one that was stamped, then looks up the Bitcoin block named in the proof (only that block's number is sent out). A proof that says "not confirmed yet" needs a few more hours.
You can also check a proof with opentimestamps.org or the ots verify record.ots tool.
