Record history on Bitcoin.
Paste a link or write something down. Keep it as a private draft, or seal it permanently on Bitcoin or BitcoinSV. Your wallet, your call.
How it works
- Create account or log in. You only need an account to write drafts of your own.
- Draft: write or paste a link. Drafts are free and stay off-chain until you seal them. You can edit or delete a draft at any time.
- Seal: choose one of four options. Bitcoin inscription or BitcoinSV inscription to store the complete content on-chain. Bitcoin hash or BitcoinSV hash to store only a fingerprint of the content on-chain.
- Pay, seal, done. You pay the network fee and sign with your own wallet. Bitseal never holds your keys.
Why Bitcoin
Bitcoin is much more than a coin for speculative trading or for holding as digital gold.
- Immutable. Once confirmed, a record cannot be quietly changed or removed.
- Decentralized. No company or government can alter or take it down.
- Scalable infrastructure for digital history. Built to keep a permanent record of what mattered.
Which Bitcoin
- BitcoinSV (inscription). Stores the complete content cheaply, so anyone with the transaction ID can read it back.
- BitcoinSV (hash). Stores only a fingerprint of your content on BitcoinSV. Your text stays private; keep your original to verify.
- Bitcoin (inscription). The most secure chain. Content is written as an inscription, so fees are higher and large content is split into parts.
- Bitcoin (hash). Stores only a fingerprint of your content on Bitcoin. Your text stays private; keep your original to verify.
Wallets
You always sign with your own wallet. Bitseal never sees your keys. New to crypto wallets?
Bitcoin Monasteries
A Bitcoin Monastery is a network of independent people, each running a private home server of their own. Together they form a decentralized network that shares and preserves truth on Bitcoin, where no company or government can alter or erase it.
